Senior AML Officer (FinTech)

Our client is a leading FinTech company providing a one-stop digital payment solutions for merchants and financial institutions to accept a comprehensive suite of payment methods in emerging markets across Southeast Asia. As part of their growth, there is now an opportunity for a rising star to join their team as Senior AML Officer.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the Senior AML Officer will be involved in :-

• Designing and implementing policies and process to comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards for the e-payments business and related financing operations , with a focus on AML.
• Managing and maintaining new and ongoing license compliance, including managing regulatory examinations, applying for new licenses and responding to requests from regulators.
• Conducting periodic risk assessment to ensure program effectiveness and risk mitigation through continuous iteration and improvements to payments compliance policies, procedures and infrastructure.
• Designing and maintaining a compliance road map and forecast for the e-payments business and operations

Profile

To qualify, the potential Senior AML Officer should meet the following criteria :-

• At least 10 years of relevant AML experience within banking or payments services.
• Able to design, set up and execute compliance framework.
• Extensive experience in interacting with regulators
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
