Role Responsibilities
  • The role is required to manage and oversee the Treasury requirements of all Global SC Venture Group's 30+ legal entities, investments.
  • The role will be a trusted member of the SCB Treasury team who will provide funding planning and analysis and collaborate with the SCV Finance Team, SCV COO Team and SCV Senior management team to develop broad business strategy. In addition, the successful candidate will act as a Treasury business partner to be the liaison point between the SCB Group and SCV such that all Group Funding and governance requirements are met while being commercially minded and helping the venture businesses grow.
Strategy
  • Provide thought leadership on all the funding affairs of SCV and its associated businesses and investments that delivers insights to SCV management.
  • Oversee and manage the Treasury requirements for all SCV business entities and investments. This involves but is not limited to, CAAF / CAA ownership for Treasury review soliciting views and opinions as required.
  • Take the lead Treasury role in reviewing the Treasury requirements for new venture ideas, liaising with the Venture teams and others as required.
Business
  • Assess the impact to the SCB Group on CET1 ratios, RWA, ILAAP and other financial regulatory reporting considerations as required (including the impact of crypto assets), including assisting with drafting the requirement for SCV were required.
Processes
  • Drive enhanced analytical reporting including key financial indicators. This will require a wider understanding of financial performance is delivered to a variety of stakeholders through business focused conversations at all levels of the team.
  • Liaising on setting up new financial and treasury systems or linking to existing SCB's systems in accordance with Group requirements as well as ensuring accurate and timely information reporting to SCB Group and related stakeholders is provided.

  • The role will require a control mindset and adherence to the SCV Committee (Risk) framework for Business Ventures and Fund investments.

  • Understand the CRR, PRA rulebook and other relevant capital regulations.
  • Adhere to Operational Risk Framework, BCBS239 principles and Prudential Compliance Framework.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Ideally CFA or Qualified Chartered Accountant/CPA/MBA
  • Degree qualified
  • 8 years of prior experience in Treasury management and planning or regulatory and capital reporting
