About the role:
Based in Singapore, you will play a key role in appraising the credit profile of companies in SMEs and Startup segment for credit in the form of Advance cards issued by Aspire in Singapore, supporting credit control and recovery efforts, and driving company-wide credit risk strategy and related policies across the region.

About the role:
Based in Singapore, you will play a key role in appraising the credit profile of companies in SMEs and Startup segment for credit in the form of Advance cards issued by Aspire in Singapore, supporting credit control and recovery efforts, and driving company-wide credit risk strategy and related policies across the region.
What will you be doing?
- Conduct credit appraisal of SMEs and Startups in Singapore using qualitative and quantitative criteria in order to grant credit limit
- Monitor the capacity and SLA of Aspire's Singapore Credit Underwriting team
- Mentor and train peers across the region
- Participate in working with the team to developing, improving and monitoring our proprietary credit model, a core component of our business
- Perform other ad-hoc based tasks related to credit analysis function
- 3-5 years of related experience in a financial institution or Fintech company with a focus on the credit risk analysis of SMEs and/or Startups
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Fast learner, passionate for the fintech industry with ability to handle ambiguity
- Positive attitude and self-motivated
- Analytical, with strong communication skills, and the ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment
