Overview

Physical/In-store Acceptance Product team is part of the Mastercard Asia Pacific Regional Product Team responsible for product management of payment acceptance products. Physical Acceptance products are all about enabling consumers who are physically present at a point-of-sale environment, to make a purchase using payment form factors of their choice.

As we enter the expectation economy and China's digital giants expand rapidly across Asia Pacific, we are experiencing a rapid change in the payments industry. We need to change, innovate and move fast to become the number one payments technology company in AP.

This team is at the forefront of that change and focusing on emerging products such as Tap on Phone, QR, Next Gen Point of Interaction, Biometric payments etc.

A suitable candidate will be motivated to think differently, deliver on short timelines and collaborate teams across Mastercard and external partners and customers.

Role

As a regional product owner of Tap on Phone Product and other emerging products such as next Gen POI, the candidate will be expected to:
• Conduct E2E product mgmt. at a regional level focusing on GTM and support across divisions and markets for Tap on Phone and other product
• Conduct customer pitches to increase adoption of the product in partnership with account management and sales team
• Liaison with Global product on a continuous basis to stay abreast with the latest on the products and standards and share updates from the regions
• Liaison with divisional and market counterparts across the region to scale the products
• Support in ensuring partners within the organization maintain a clear and accurate understanding of our products and how they bundle with Core
• Continuously engage and build relationship and new partnerships with Tap on Phone solution vendors to scale the product

All About You
• Basic understanding of payments ecosystem and acceptance
• Knowledge and ideally use of, how a product is developed, delivered and managed (PME)
• Translate competitor analysis and benchmarking to support product road map development
• Strong communication skills and an ability to clear articulate a solution/problem to an audience
• Support the generation and maintenance of sales enablement material and RFP submissions
• Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
