Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are hiring a visionary Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead commercial strategy and drive sustainable revenue growth across key business units. This executive role will oversee all revenue-generating activities and play a critical part in optimizing performance across product, pricing, partnerships, and pipeline development. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the remittance, payments, or fintech ecosystem in Southeast Asia, with a track record of commercial success, revenue optimization, and data-led decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow diverse revenue streams including transaction fees, FX margins, and partner programs, ensuring healthy and sustainable commercial performance.
  • Build and manage revenue tracking and anomaly detection tools, leveraging automation to flag performance issues, billing delays, or leakage.
  • Guide and oversee all commercial functions including Sales, BD, and Partnerships, with a focus on target accountability, pipeline management, and execution.
  • Design pricing strategies and product bundling approaches aligned with business growth and profitability.
  • Participate in high-level strategic negotiations and client engagements to champion commercial value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Product, and Technology to align revenue strategies with delivery capability.
  • Analyze market data to uncover new commercial opportunities and defend against competitive threats.
  • Provide clear and actionable revenue forecasts and board-level reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 to 12 years in commercial leadership roles within fintech, payments, or financial services, including recent senior-level experience.
  • Proven success in managing complex revenue streams and growing topline across regional markets.
  • Strong financial literacy, including comfort with forecasting models and revenue analytics.
  • Hands-on experience deploying dashboards and automation tools to manage commercial performance.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders and lead outcome-focused negotiations.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline. A Masters or MBA is preferred.
