Quality Assurance Analyst

We are hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst with strong expertise in manual functional testing to support application testing across digital banking products. The role involves collaborating with business users, business analysts (BAs), and developers to validate end-to-end functionality, workflows, and user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse functional specifications and develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts.
• Perform manual testing of UI and backend features, including regression, smoke, system testing.
• Log, track, and report defects using JIRA, and work closely with development to resolve issues.
• Participate in UAT coordination, assist users during test cycles, and support go-live activities.
• Validate data flows using basic SQL queries and document test results with traceability matrices.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in functional and system testing.
• Hands-on with test documentation, UAT support, and business acceptance testing.
• Familiar with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Postman (basic API), and Excel.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience testing in banking, insurance, or fintech platforms.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools (optional, not required).
