Accountant

Our client, a fast-growing and MAS-regulated trading platform, is seeking an Accountant to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to grow within a high-performing fintech business.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts, including month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliation
• Prepare and submit MAS regulatory reports in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Support group consolidation and financial reporting across entities
• Work closely with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Drive improvements in financial processes and controls to support the company's scaling

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; CPA/ACCA qualification is preferred
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a regulated environment
• Prior experience with MAS reporting and group consolidation is essential
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel
• Meticulous, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setup
