We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the product strategy for the local market, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and market-winning products. This role requires a balance of strong customer empathy, commercial focus, and the ability to drive products forward in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Your role in the team

Reporting to London based Product Director, Asia Pacific & Middle East Division, this newly created position is the second one of its kind to be added to the regional team.

The position will take ownership of the product strategy to take IG's market leading position in Singapore to the next level.


What you’ll do

  • Keep a close eye on competitors and market trends, identifying opportunities to gain a competitive edge.
  • Proactively engage with customers to build empathy and deeply understand their needs.
  • Own the product and its outcomes for the local market, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Understand IG’s product portfolio inside out, identifying opportunities for local market success.
  • Write clear problem statements, value propositions, and product requirement documents (PRDs).
  • Break down large problems into smaller, actionable tasks and define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
  • Leverage UI/UX teams to validate ideas and hypotheses through research and testing before development.
  • Leverage data, consumer insights, and user experience (UX) research to build meaningful product insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop product positioning, define Minimum Marketable Products (MMPs), and track the impact from idea to market.
  • Work with third-party partners to explore capabilities for potential collaborations or acquisitions.
  • Define and track product metrics to ensure success against defined outcomes.
  • Work closely with the local country leadership to prioritize outcomes that align with business goals.
  • Provide dotted line reporting to country leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on product direction.

What you’ll need for this role:

  • Proven experience as a Senior/Principal/Lead Product Manager or similar role in a tech-driven company.
  • Solid understanding of product development cycles, from ideation to launch.
  • Experience in launching new products will set the candidate apart from the rest!
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to include technology, business, marketing, and design teams.
  • Experience with data analysis and the ability to leverage insights to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate product visions and value propositions clearly.
  • Commercially savvy, with a solid understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Motivated, curious, and able to step outside comfort zones to challenge the status quo.
