Our client is a leading global cryptocurrency liquidity provider and trading firm specializing in providing liquidity solutions for digital assets. Established to bridge the gap between institutional and retail cryptocurrency markets, they offers deep liquidity, competitive pricing, and advanced trading solutions across a broad range of digital assets.
They are looking for a Senior Operations Specialist in Singapore to join a global team supporting daily clearing, settlement, and risk management processes. As the main point of contact for resolving clearing issues and managing risk, you will ensure smooth daily operations. You will also work closely with the product and technology teams to implement platform improvements and enhance the overall member experience.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage SOPs to ensure accurate changes.
- Support trade settlement, asset custody, clearing, deposits, and withdrawals.
- Oversee and reconcile digital asset transactions and manage trade lifecycles.
- Act as process owner for current functions and provide support for tech and process enhancements.
- Understand and support clearinghouse risk management tools.
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to improve processes and automation.
- Manage projects, including timelines, updates, and Jira workflows.
Experience:
- 5 years in operations, ideally in banking, brokerage, or fintech.
- Experience with fixed income, currencies, crypto, derivatives, or commodities.
- Background in clearing, settlement, and risk management roles.
- Knowledge of digital asset custodians and blockchain is a plus.
- Familiarity with futures, options, and OTC products preferred.
- Prior experience interacting with front office and senior management.
Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions.
- Flexibility to work across time zones in a 24/7 environment.
- Capability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin is a plus.
- Ability to work independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and strong attention to detail.
