Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into detailed functional and technical requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize virtual account management processes, enhance workflow efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse large sets of financial and transactional data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can improve virtual account services.
  • Planning Skills: The proficiency to plan the activities in a project and also to identify the ad-hoc changes and incorporate those in the plan.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and customer service, to implement solutions and resolve issues related to virtual accounts.
  • System Design and Implementation: Assist in the design, configuration, and implementation of virtual account systems or platforms, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable for future needs.
  • Testing and Validation: Support the testing of new features and system upgrades, ensuring that they are functional and meet the required business criteria.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of business requirements, process flows, user guides, and system changes.
  • Reporting and Dashboarding: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to track performance and operational metrics related to virtual account management.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to internal users and stakeholders regarding virtual account systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Risk and Compliance: Ensure virtual account management processes comply with relevant regulatory and security standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with a focus on financial services or virtual account management.
  • Strong knowledge of virtual account management systems, banking software, and financial technology (FinTech).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in using data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Microsoft Project, etc.).
  • Experience with process mapping, requirement documentation, and project management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and security protocols related to virtual accounts is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
  • Familiarity with virtual banking platforms or payment processing systems.
  • Understanding of automation tools and techniques in financial services.
