Director, Legal & Compliance

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on a wide range of compliance issues, including licensing and regulatory matters.
• Oversee business, investment, and AML compliance, especially in asset management and private equity.
• Collaborate with investment teams to advise on compliance and monitor pre/post-trade activities.
• Conduct compliance reviews and update internal policies to meet regulatory standards.
• Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external consultants on compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
• Advise the business on legal risks, daily operations, and new initiatives.
• Develop internal policies and manage legal risks.

Requirements:

• 10–15 years of experience in legal and compliance, preferably in finance, fund administration, or FinTech.
• Strong knowledge of fund regulations and compliance codes.
• Skilled in working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, training, and audit skills.
• Able to manage pressure and work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
