Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the company’s technology vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities for technology-driven growth and innovation.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain market leadership.

2. Product & Technology Development

• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance software and technology solutions.
• Lead architecture decisions ensuring robustness, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product and Business teams to align technical capabilities with customer and market needs.

3. Team Leadership & Management

• Build and mentor a high-performing technology team (engineering, IT, data, cybersecurity).
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Establish strong development processes, tools, and best practices.

4. Security & Compliance

• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Implement robust risk management and disaster recovery strategies.

5. Operational Excellence

• Define and monitor KPIs to measure technology performance and delivery efficiency.
• Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and resource planning effectively.

6. Innovation & Research

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, etc.) and assess their potential impact on business.
• Promote a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or advanced management education is a plus.

Experience:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles.
• Proven track record of building and scaling tech platforms or products.
• Strong experience in software development, cloud infrastructure, and modern tech stacks.
• Previous experience in FinTech, SaaS preferred.
