The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-performing Mineral Rights Transactions Manager to help unlock and realize the commercial value of our growing mineral exploration portfolio. Sitting at the crossroads of business development, investment execution, and technical insight, this role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in resource economics, mining M&A, or early-stage natural resources investment.
What You’ll Do
🔍 Transaction Strategy & Deal Execution
- Evaluate internal mineral exploration licenses and package them for sale or strategic partnerships
- Prepare investment memos, valuation summaries, and commercial assessments
- Lead and coordinate financial, legal, and technical due diligence for transactions
🤝 Stakeholder Engagement & Negotiation
- Collaborate with geologists and engineers to interpret technical data and align on commercial narratives
- Negotiate commercial terms (NDAs, MoUs, SPAs, JV agreements) with buyers and partners
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, license holders, government agencies, and investors
📈 Market Intelligence & Structuring
- Monitor regulatory, policy, and licensing updates in relevant jurisdictions
- Conduct market research to benchmark comparable transactions and pricing strategy
- Support integration or exit planning post-deal, including data room management and project handovers
What You’ll Bring
✅ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Geology, or a related field
✅ 3–5 years of experience in mining investment, mineral transactions, M&A, or natural resources
✅ Solid understanding of mineral rights regimes, exploration-stage assets, and deal execution
✅ Strong ability to translate technical data into commercial insights
✅ Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
✅ Fluent in English and Mandarin; French proficiency is a strong advantage
✅ Prior exposure to West Africa or Asia’s mining sectors is highly desirable
✅ Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and comfortable working in frontier markets
