A leading bank with a strong presence in digital transformation is seeking a dynamic Innovation Programme Lead to drive end-to-end innovation programmes and community engagement initiatives. This role sits within a strategic innovation hub and offers the opportunity to shape digital innovation within the organisation and across the broader fintech and accelerator ecosystem.
About the Role
As the Innovation Programme Lead, you’ll play a key role in conceptualising, executing and managing innovation and accelerator programmes—both internal and external—centered around a vibrant innovation space. You will be the bridge between business units, technology teams, startups and the innovation community, championing creativity, experimentation and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of digital innovation and community programmes, using a central hub as the anchor.
- Build strong rapport with internal teams and the broader fintech/startup/accelerator ecosystem, both online and offline.
- Design and manage end-to-end programme delivery—from programme structure and budgeting to marketing, stakeholder management and daily operations.
- Examples include:
Internal accelerators with business and tech stakeholders
External accelerators with fintech/startup participation - Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders, including programme proposals, updates and outcome reports.
- Offer innovation mentorship and advisory, including:
Business use cases tied to industry trends
Innovation ambitions, design enhancements, and user experience (UI/UX) perspectives - Collaborate across teams for rapid prototyping, including ideation, wireframing, and user testing.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions using innovation frameworks and tools.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing innovation initiatives (e.g. accelerators, hackathons, innovation labs).
- Strong grasp of UI/UX principles with working knowledge of tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Illustrator.
- Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (basic formulas and data handling).
- A resourceful, self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple projects across diverse scopes.
- Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and is comfortable working with minimal structure.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Bonus: Familiarity with design or programming languages.
