Compliance Manager (Licensing & Operations)

This role will be pivotal in identifying, applying for, and managing crypto-related licenses across multiple jurisdictions, while ensuring alignment with local and international compliance standards. We are looking for individuals with strong regulatory knowledge, hands-on licensing experience, and a global compliance mindset.

• Lead or support end-to-end regulatory license applications, including compiling documentation, engaging with legal advisors/regulators, and managing submission timelines.
• Monitor global regulatory developments related to crypto, virtual assets, payments, or financial services, and evaluate licensing opportunities.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (legal, product, operations) and external regulators to ensure compliance obligations are met post-licensing.
• Assist in developing and implementing compliance frameworks, policies, and internal controls across jurisdictions.
• Support due diligence, audits, and regulatory inquiries as part of ongoing license management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of key regulations (e.g., VASP, MSB, EMI, MiFID II, PSA, etc.) in markets such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, EU, US, and others.
• Work closely with regional and global compliance teams to ensure licensing strategy aligns with Organisation global expansion goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field; legal or compliance certification is a plus.
• 3–6 years of relevant compliance or licensing experience, preferably in crypto, fintech, financial institutions, or regulated exchanges.
• Prior experience with regulatory frameworks like MAS (Singapore PSA), FinCEN (US MSB), SFC (HK VASP), DFSA/VARA (UAE), FCA (UK EMI/PSP) or similar is highly preferred.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work across time zones and with cross-border teams.
