Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution
- Define project scope, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress, cost, and quality, ensuring compliance with company standards (e.g., CMMI, Agile) and client requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (development, testing, product, etc.), clarify roles, and optimize collaboration efficiency.
Technical Leadership
- Participate in technical solution reviews, assess feasibility, and provide actionable feedback.
- Understand software development processes (e.g., DevOps, CI/CD) and architecture to engage in deep technical discussions.
- Drive key technical metrics (code quality, test coverage, performance optimization).
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Foster a high-performance team culture, resolving conflicts and motivating members.
- Communicate project status to clients and senior leadership, managing expectations and change requests
- Client focused: Drives decision making and delivery outcomes through client lense
Risk, Budget & Quality Control
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively, including technical, compliance, and resourcing risks.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on budget, with proper documentation for cost controls and financial reporting.
- Monitor deliverables to ensure adherence to quality, performance, and regulatory benchmarks.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of working experience in project management, preferably in the banking and financial sector.
3. Expertise in project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Scrum); PMP certification is a plus.
4. Hands-on experience with SDLC and QA processes (e.g., CMMI), and tools like Jira or MS Project.
Preferred
1. Background in software architecture or core development (e.g., Java/Python, microservices, DB optimization).
2. Proven track record of delivering complex projects under high-pressure environments.
