Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive System Administrator (SysAdmin) to join our growing fintech team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing our infrastructure and endpoints, to support mission-critical financial applications and ensure high availability, performance, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

1. System Maintenance and Monitoring:

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux), application software, and system management tools.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT resources.
  • Perform regular system updates and patches to maintain security and performance.

2. Security Management:

  • Implement and manage security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Respond to security incidents and breaches and implement corrective actions.

3. User Support:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to employees and clients.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide solutions.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

4. Backup and Recovery:

  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Perform regular backups and test recovery procedures.

5. Compliance Management:

  • Enforce access controls, patch management, and endpoint protection aligned with financial compliance standards (e.g., MAS TRM, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • Respond to security incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance gaps.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to meet SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria (security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy)
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate SOC 2 audits and reviews.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to staff on compliance and best practices.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, security, compliance, and other key metrics.


Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.

· Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Endpoint

· Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux, etc.) and network management.

· Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Docker).

· Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and cybersecurity best practices.

· Experience with SOC 2 compliance and understanding of Trust Services Criteria

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
