Job Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients, meeting monthly, quarterly and yearly targets.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Provide actionable merchant insights to the product team, shaping the product road map.
  • Ensure seamless on-boarding and activation of new merchants, driving usage across the product suite.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities within the broader ecosystem to deepen client engagement.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, resolve escalations and address customer service issues.
  • Track and analyse key sales metrics to address performance gaps and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across markets, including Product, Engineering and Marketing.
  • Help build a junior sales team and establish key sales processes, tools, and GTM channels for sustained growth.
  • Lead by example, embodying company values, driving results, and fostering effective communication.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within the payments or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of selling payments solutions, ideally with Banks or FinTechs.
  • Strong field sales experience with both large enterprises and smaller accounts.
  • Experience engaging and influencing C-level executives.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively.
  • Strong technical knowledge of payments, fintech and banking ecosystems.
