We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and entrepreneurial-minded Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of eCommerce, gaming, and youth consumption trends, along with a strong grasp of financial modelling and product profitability. The right person will be comfortable working across gaming ecosystems and eCommerce platforms, with bonus points for exposure to Trading Card Games (TCG), demonstrating insights into monetization, user engagement, and digital collectability models.
Job Description:
As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for the management of a financial product designed for the gaming and online consumer space. This includes product conceptualization, strategic development, and Go-To-Market (GTM) execution. A successful candidate will have a user-first mindset, be comfortable in both the gaming and eCommerce domains, and ideally, be familiar with the economics and mechanics behind TCG environments (physical or digital).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Planning & Design:
- Design a financial product (e.g., wallet, card, top-up/rewards solution) that serves gamers and online shoppers.
- Craft benefit and loyalty schemes, especially with parallels to value systems seen in TCG communities.
- Coordinate with tech, ops, and marketing to deliver high-quality user experiences.
2. Market Research & User Insights:
- Research user spending habits across gaming and eCommerce platforms, including collectibles or TCG-like products.
- Analyse industry trends and competitor offerings, especially those with gamified reward systems or microtransaction models.
- Use data to guide user engagement, retention, and lifetime value strategies.
3. Financial Modelling & Business Optimization:
- Build financial models to assess profitability and ROI across gaming and shopping verticals.
- Explore partnership models with payment institutions, game publishers, and eCommerce platforms.
- Develop monetization strategies inspired by digital goods and collectible ecosystems.
4. Product Launch & GTM Strategy:
- Execute GTM strategies targeting gaming communities and digital-first consumers.
- Leverage marketing channels aligned with gaming and TCG audiences.
- Continuously gather feedback and evolve the product post-launch.
Requirements:
1. Industry Experience:
- 3+ years in product management in eCommerce, fintech, or gaming.
- Experience with TCGs (physical or digital) is highly advantageous — familiarity with user behaviour in collectible-driven environments is a plus.
- Understanding of payment systems, online marketplaces, and user incentives.
2. Data & Financial Acumen:
- Skilled in financial modelling and user data analysis.
- Able to develop revenue forecasts and pricing models based on digital product dynamics.
3. Product Execution:
- Proven track record launching 0-to-1 products in digital spaces.
- Knowledge of user experience best practices and financial product risk management.
4. Business & Collaboration:
- Strong communicator with cross-functional project management experience.
- Prior collaboration with banks, game publishers, eCommerce platforms, or digital payment providers is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of eCommerce and TCG ecosystems (e.g., Magic: The Gathering, Hearthstone, Pokémon TCG, or similar digital card-based economies).
- Familiarity with Web3 collectibles, loyalty mechanics, or gamified digital assets.
- Regional market experience in Southeast Asia or familiarity with global credit/debit card structures.
Other Requirements:
- 1-2 years of working experience in a related field (for junior roles) or relevant experience for senior roles.
- Strong communication skills across various channels (phone, email, text message, in-person).
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide range of personality types.
- Commercially astute and able to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
