About the Role:

At Aspire, we have very ambitious plans of scaling to new geographies, introducing numerous currency accounts, enabling payments in many new geographies and processing millions of transactions annually.

In order to do this, we need to integrate with many banks and service providers, and route our payments via the right partner - to provide the fastest, and most convenient payment method to our customers at very good prices. In addition, we need to enhance our own infrastructure and systems support this network of payment providers.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Product Manager to lead the efforts of developing our global expansion efforts.

As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and execution of our integration efforts with multiple payment providers. You will work closely with engineering, design, operations, and business teams to ensure our product offerings meet the needs of our customers and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy and Product Roadmap Development: Define and drive the product strategy for integrating with various payment providers, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and commercial teams, to gather requirements and ensure successful project execution.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with payment providers, managing integrations and ongoing partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform product decisions.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integration projects on time and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: Understand technical aspects of payment integrations to effectively communicate with engineering teams and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of integrations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure all integrations comply with relevant regulations and security standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years working experience as a Product Manager, preferably in Payments or Fintech
  • Be very comfortable with API documentations.
  • Demonstrated sharp problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
  • Ability to drive negotiations with different stakeholders to make informed trade-offs
  • Data-driven - has the ability to extract insights from raw data and communicate them clearly
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Have real-life experience launching payment products from zero to one.
  • Familiar with data visualization tools (eg. Tableau, SQL)
  • Previous experience in technical role is a bonus - eg. software developers, data analysts, etc.
