IT Governance & Risk Specialist (1.5 line) - Fintech / MAS TRM

Location: Central | Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: $8,000 – $10,000 + Bonus + Attractive Benefits (commensurate with experience)

We're hiring an IT Governance & Risk Specialist to strengthen our 1.5 line of defense. You’ll work closely with both operational and assurance teams to support IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and control effectiveness across the organization.

Your Role:

• Lead IT risk governance efforts, frameworks, and controls within the 1.5 LoD
• Collaborate with 2nd/3rd LoD teams to respond to audits, improve controls, and support compliance initiatives
• Monitor and manage IT risks—operational and strategic—ensuring alignment with enterprise risk appetite
• Drive control testing, risk mitigation, and ongoing monitoring activities
• Ensure IT operations align with MAS TRM/TRMG and relevant regulatory guidelines
• Recommend enhancements to IT risk and governance processes
• Track and report IT risk indicators, control status, and key developments to management
• Apply best practices and standards to maintain a strong risk posture

Your Background:

• Degree in IT or related field
• 3–5 years' experience in IT governance, risk, or compliance
• Familiar with financial services or payment sector regulations (e.g., MAS TRM, CCoP)
• Knowledge of IT and cybersecurity operations and controls
• Professional certifications (CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CGEIT, etc.) are advantageous
• Strong communicator with solid problem-solving and coordination skills
