The Banking and Liquidity team is responsible for identifying, selecting and onboarding banks, liquidity and payout partners. This team manages Triple-A’s payout and collections capabilities and continuously works to improve and extend the corridors and currencies enabled across the globe.
Role and key responsibilities
The Manager of Banking and Liquidity will be based in Singapore. This person will report into the Global Head of Banking and Liquidity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Management of existing bank and liquidity relationships,
- Establishing new relationships as needed to support the business requirements
- Review of contracts and agreements
- Defining the processes associated with the existing/selected partner, such as funding, payment initiation, collection methods, limits, restrictions, use cases etc
- Maintenance/approval of pricing information for clients including the in-house pricing tool, working closely with the stakeholders from finance and sales
- Periodic review of costs with the partners
- Preparing/Reviewing operational documentation for new customer go-live including hand-holding until the first successful transaction working closely with the stakeholders from sales, compliance, tech and finance
Skillset and Experience
The following skills and experience are required for this role:
- About 5-10 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to consume and process a significant amount of information, assess the impact, then summarise and disseminate that information quickly and effectively to key internal stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal skills as the role requires interaction with all levels of the organization; both internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Understand the key business drivers, operational risks and efficiency expectations of a payments fintech
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and facilitation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Well organized, enthusiastic and pragmatic
