Blockchain Specialist – Certificate Authenticator

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement blockchain solutions for secure issuance and verification of training certificates and learning credentials.
• Develop smart contracts and integrate blockchain platforms with the centre’s Learning Management System (LMS).
• Research and recommend appropriate blockchain technologies to enhance the credibility and traceability of student achievements.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant education and data protection regulations.
• Collaborate with the product, academic, and development teams to deliver user-friendly verification solutions.
• Provide technical support and training for staff on blockchain-based certificate processes.
• Prepare documentation, technical specifications, and reports for management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with blockchain development (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger).
• Strong knowledge of smart contracts, encryption, and decentralised applications.
• Familiarity with education technology systems, credentialing platforms, or digital identity management is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
