Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for regional entities.
- Provide in-depth financial analysis to support business performance and strategic initiatives.
- Monitor key financial metrics, variances, and trends, and present insights to leadership.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts for the region.
- Work closely with business units to align financial plans with operational goals.
- Track financial performance against budgets and forecast projections.
- Ensure full compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements in all markets under scope.
- Coordinate with local finance teams or outsourced partners across multiple jurisdictions.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities as needed.
- Act as a strategic partner to regional GMs, product heads, and operations teams.
- Provide financial advice and models to support new product launches, pricing strategies, and market entry assessments.
- Assist in evaluating investment opportunities and financial risks.
- Streamline financial processes and enhance internal controls across regional operations.
- Leverage fintech tools and automation to improve reporting speed and accuracy.
- Support ERP implementation or upgrades as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a regional role, ideally within fintech or tech.
- Solid understanding of IFRS/local GAAP, regional tax regimes, and financial operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and agile mindset.
- Ability to travel occasionally within the region.
