Overview
You’ll own the entire growth flywheel for Asia—designing and executing strategies to acquire, retain, and engage users at scale, blending data-driven experimentation, localization, and product-led mechanics (A/B testing, funnel analytics) to drive adoption.
You are adept at building growth loops (referrals, token incentives, community virality) and optimizing key funnels (onboarding, activation, retention) to drive sustainable adoption.
Your key responsibilities,
Product-Led Growth (PLG) Strategy
o Design self-sustaining growth loops where the product drives its own adoption (e.g., token rewards for referrals, gamification, or staking mechanics that incentivize sharing).
o Optimize user acquisition and retention (re-engagement campaigns, DAU/MAU strategies).
o Partner with product/engineering to embed growth hooks into UX (e.g., seamless wallet onboarding, social features like "Friend Suggestions" → "Wallet Connections").
o Scale community-driven virality (Discord, Telegram, DAO contributors) as a core acquisition channel.
Data-Led Growth Execution
o Define and monitor core metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, retention, referral rates) using tools like Mixpanel, Dune Analytics, or SQL.
o Run high-velocity A/B tests on onboarding flows, notifications, and incentive structures (e.g., optimizing airdrop claims or sign-up CTAs).
o Identify drop-off points in user journeys and pivot resources to the highest-impact levers (e.g., News Feed → Discord engagement).
Asia-Focused Scalability
o Localize growth tactics for emerging markets (e.g., mobile native, regional influencer partnerships).
o Navigate crypto adoption barriers (e.g., India’s tax policies, Indonesia’s exchange regulations) with creative workarounds.
KOL Marketing
o Leverage community-led growth (DAO contributors, ambassador programs, KOLs etc).
o Develop country-specific influencer playbooks aligned with brand, product, and growth objectives.
o Identify and onboard top-tier Web3 influencers, YouTubers, TikTok creators, Twitter/X personalities.
o Lead influencer-driven product launches, AMAs, livestreams, and viral social activations.
o Create memes, viral threads and trend-jacking strategies to boost organic growth
What you should have ideally,
o 2+ years in growth marketing, preferably in Web3, fintech, or gaming.
o Proven track record of scaling user bases in Asia (India, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc.)
o Builder mentality: You ship fast, experiment relentlessly, and pivot based on data.
o Deep experiences working with KOLs in Asia, especially in crypto, tech, or gaming and with a strong network of the KOLs.
o Strategic and data-driven, with the ability to balance hype with measurable growth outcomes.
o Obsessed with data (SQL, Mixpanel, Google Analytics) and A/B testing.
o Sound understanding of Web3 growth mechanics (tokenomics, community virality).
