Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis and solution prototyping in Python/SQL or equivalent for insights discovery
• Optimization of existing AML and compliance solutions in areas of model validation, rule tuning, segmentation
• Manage system related change management and issue management processes and ensure the quality of execution
• Ability to work with relevant stakeholders to identify underlying risk factors and develop appropriate solutions for risk mitigation
• Automate manual processes and create dashboards
• Participate in localisation projects and fast track system related matters in the compliance space

Key Requirements

• Relevant degree in computer science, statistic or relevant studies. PHD holder is a plus.
• 4 years of experience or above in programming, data analysis, data mapping
• Good knowledge of machine learning algorithms and methodologies
• Experience in system optimization/model validation roles in the area of transaction monitoring and name screening is preferred
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Able to work independently under pressure and accomplish tasks assigned within a tight deadline
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese is preferred
• Detailed and process orientated
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task including handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment
