Regional Lead Security Engineer

About the Regional Lead Security Engineer Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the Regional Lead Security Engineer will play a key role in the Security team's continued development and success in its new Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working with designers and architects to ensure that buildings are designed with security in mind
• Conducting risk assessments by analysing data to identify vulnerabilities in security systems
• Coordinating security activities with other departments such as human resources, legal, facilities management, etc.
• Providing security documentation and other records as required by law or regulation
• Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and training to prevent security incidents
• Maintaining a security awareness program by providing security training to employees on topics such as computer security, identity theft, and fraud prevention
• Developing a security plan for events such as public gatherings or construction projects
• Conducting investigations into possible security breaches or illegal activity
• Recommending security system upgrades to protect against new threats such as cyber attacks

To succeed in this Regional Lead Security Engineer role, you must possess outstanding communication skills as you will be stakeholder facing.

Key Requirements:

• At least seven years' experience overall

• At least three years of experience as a security engineer who has worked on projects and created cybersecurity solutions

• A passion for both breaking and securing software

• knowledge of popular attack strategies and proficiency in performing penetration testing
• Proven track record in creating software security features such as session management, input validation, logging and monitoring, and access control
• Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines that automate security tests
• Working knowledge of SAST and DAST testing procedures and equipment
• Practical understanding of public-key and private-key cryptography
• Knowledge of methods for securing software against frequent attacks.
• Self-driven and inventive problem-solver who can function without much direction
• Outstanding capacity for cross-team collaboration
• Capacity to balance various conflicting priorities and exercise sound judgement while making decisions
