We're looking for a critical thinker to help build the foundations of the Global Regulatory Reporting team, whose mission is to empower their Compliance colleagues across the globe to satisfy reporting requirements, draw investigative insights, and deepen their understanding of the Crypto.com product stack to keep our users safe and protect against malicious actors.
The ideal candidate would have experience solving complex data puzzles either as an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Sanctions / Fraud / Credit Risk professional or as a Data Analyst with experience in international payments, finance, or operations.

What You'd Do
    • Work closely with Asia-Pacific stakeholders to document and define requests, determine complexity and priority, and align expectations and deliverables.
    • Design and implement reports and dashboards to satisfy ongoing regulatory reporting obligations from provincial and federal regulators (i.e. MAS, AUSTRAC, etc.), financial partners, and internal leadership.
    • Identify knowledge gaps, understand pain points, and potential pipeline optimisations. Collaborate with the compliance team to track, analyse and report performance, KPIs, project goals, and strategic initiatives, as needed.
    • Ensure maintenance of regulatory prescriptions thresholds along with timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports, surveys, and disclosure obligations by overseeing the daily finance regulatory reporting process.
    • Track and monitor Compliance programmes, including liaison and implementation of new and/or amended finance-related regulatory and financial reporting requirements with various stakeholders.
What We Need
    • Data Driven: An analytical mindset obsessed with data-driven inferences, experienced in designing, deploying, and debugging SQL queries, defaults to trust but keeps the receipt.
    • Culture Champion: True believer in the mission of Compliance and Risk functions to detect and deter bad actors from engaging in fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crime.
    • Self-starter: Takes ownership and sees problems as opportunities.
    • Clear Communicator: Distilling complex data analysis into concise reports.
    • Natural Collaborator: Working across multiple stakeholders and time zones, invests in others through education, always has time to explain.
    • Inquisitive: Always teasing the ends of the strings, and whose interest is peaked by the growing, global crypto community.
What We'd Like
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services compliance, with a preferred focus in Regulatory/Financial Reporting within the Banking Industry.
    • Familiarity with regional financial authorities such as AUSTRAC and MAS.
    • Familiarity with SQL languages (ex: Presto, SparkSQL)
    • Exposure to running, writing, or debugging programming scripts (e.g., Python, cURL)
    • Experience working with visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Databricks)
    • Preferably with regulatory reporting experience (e.g., income taxes, outstanding liabilities, permissible investments, money transmissions)
    • Experienced working cross-functionally with operational teams (e.g., finance, security, data privacy, fraud or AML analysts, CX agents)
    • Strategic and conceptual thinking with a structured approach to implementation.
    • Strong organizational skills with a focus on producing detailed high-quality output.
