Role Description

This position is part of the Global Technology team and has primary accountability for the delivery of all Workplace services (1st-3rd Line Support functions) and manage the continued improvement.

Specific Role Responsibilities
  • Manage the Workplace team across Asia Pacific.
  • Ensure the team provides high quality and timely support to internal users which includes:
    • First Line Support to users through our Helpdesk Software;
    • Desktop Deployment Services (preferably Intune/Autopilot);
    • Azure and on Prem Active Directory Users & Groups management and Group policy;
    • Microsoft Email systems
    • All user access for FNZ Internal bespoke applications;
    • All Corporate office systems including Office 365, Printers, Desktop/Laptops and Mobile Devices;
    • Telephony system for end-users including Securities business (e.g. MS TEAMS Calls and Cloud9 / IPC)
    • Asset Register Maintenance.
    • Remote support to other internal clients
    • Daily checks and BAU monitoring and fault resolution
    • Ensuring that the correct service desk processes and procedures are followed
    • Basic connectivity and network troubleshooting
    • Knowledge sharing and mentoring
    • Documentation of technical fault solutions
    • Recommend improvements to all aspects of the IT services
    • Ensure IT policies are adhered to at all times
    • Identity management
    • Video conferencing systems.
    • CCTV and physical access controls.


  • Ensure global policies and standards are being implemented in the region.
  • Initiate process improvement and ensure all processes are being documented.
  • Set proper service level agreement and measure it accordingly.
  • Able to drive changes, transformation, manage process improvement and regional initiatives.


Experience required
  • Experience in a similar Managerial role is an advantage;
  • English on communicative level;
  • General infrastructure skills and knowledge of Microsoft Desktop and Server products;
  • General identify management and project management skills
  • An understanding of Virtualisation (ESXi / vSphere) , Active Directory;
  • A good understanding of IP network fundamentals;
  • Great team player and able to work under direction or independently.
