Legal Counsel, Asia Pacific

As Legal Counsel, you will provide evaluate and resolve legal issues and provide legal advice to the Group, covering several business lines and functions across the region.

The legal counsel will support APAC businesses in all legal matters, having daily interaction with all businesses and functions.

The work comprises a wide range of matters including drafting and interpreting contracts, litigation, regulation, M&A, employee relations, company secretarial and assisting the business to understand legal risks/issues.

APAC regional coverage includes Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan.

Profile:

• 10-15 years PQE
• Law degree
• Qualified solicitor (common law jurisdiction)
• Experience from litigation, finance, M&A, debt capital markets, company/commercial law.
• Broad legal experience is essential give the wide scope of the role.
• Banking and finance background, ideally with experience in an APAC legal counsel role for a major global financial institution

Salary Indication:

• Base:           SG$265,000 - $360,000
• Bonus:         Excellent
