Group Head of Compliance (FinTech)

Our client is a leading FinTech company providing a one-stop digital payment solutions for merchants and financial institutions to accept a comprehensive suite of payment methods in emerging markets across Southeast Asia. As part of their growth, there is now an opportunity for a rising star to join their team as Group Head of Compliance.

Description

Reporting to the Group CEO, the Group Head of Compliance will be involved in :-

• Establishing oversight of compliance requirements and issues for each business unit and markets.
• Identifying areas of synergy where multiple business units are impacted by the same regulatory requirement.
• Providing strategic advice to new regulatory requirements, gap in current operation and regulatory requirement for new business or product launches.
• Designing and implementing group wide internal compliance policies and collaborate with individual business units to roll out relevant training.

Profile

To qualify, the potential Group Head of Compliance should meet the following criteria :-

• At least 15 years experience in Governance or Compliance within banking and fintech.
• Able to design, set up and execute group level compliance framework.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the various compliance framework and requirements, able to interpret and operationalize into business requirements.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
