Job Details

Your primary role will be to help acquire and manage payment licenses and other related legal duties. Upon the grant of MPI license, your role will be expanding to enhance regulatory compliance control framework and oversee business processes to be compliant with local regulations.

• Report directly to COO of the head office in Korea
• Lead the process to obtain payment licenses (e.g., MPI in Singapore)
• Assist and liaise with legal firms on application for payment service license
• Act as liaison officer with MAS, auditors, and authorities
• Oversee procedures and processes to meet all legal obligations and take care of reporting duties
• Conduct day-to-day operations and office admin in Singapore (only temporarily until the grant of MPI license)

Requirements

• 5 years and above of relevant Regulatory compliance experience, preferably from from Banks, Payment fintechs and other financial institutions or blockchain companies
• Familiar with the financial laws and regulations in Singapore. Prior experience in cross-border payment/digital wallets/platforms would be an added advantage
• Comprehensive knowledge of MAS regulations and the local regulatory landscape​
