RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be required to provide a compliance oversight to the different business units under the group. You take ownership in understanding the various compliance framework and requirements and interpret and operationalize into business requirements.
You will represent the business to work with regulators (SEA region) on all compliance matters and report to the Board on any issues, and any necessary remedial actions needed arising from audit, inspection, and compliance reviews.
To take responsibility in keeping abreast of all related regulatory developments and assess impact on the company and advise accordingly.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be qualified for the role, you fulfil the following;
- Minimum of direct 15 years of Governance or Compliance experience within Banking / Fintech
- Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore Financial Services and Fintech sectors regulatory regime and familiar with MAS requirements, specifically the Securities and Futures Act and Payment Services Act
- Superior organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in liaising with key regulators
