Software Engineer (Java) - Global Investment Bank

My client, a leading global investment bank is seeking multiple Java Developers (Analyst – VP level) to join their FX teams in Singapore & Hong Kong. 

As part of their Markets Execution department expansion, the team will be focused on: 

• Rebuilding, designing and developing the Java-based technology platforms and infrastructure that supports ultra-high-tech applications & systems
• Rebuild, enhance and develop new strategies that make up the Forex electronic trading platform across APAC

These are Analyst / AVP / VP positions, working as Developers, focusing on work related to electronic trading expansion in Asia. The ideal candidates will be goal oriented and will work closely with Business Analysts, Tech Leads, Quantitative Developers and Project Managers in a dynamic work environment. 

My client is looking for developers who are technically strong and goal oriented who also have the ability to work in a team. If you’re a hardcore programmer with the desire to work at the highest level in APAC in a tier 1 investment bank, this role is for you. 

Responsibilities:

• Working on low-latency Foreign Exchange electronic trading platform
• Work closely with business units to define the specification / requirements
• Developing tactical and strategic solutions to problems as the business requires it
• Provide a meaningful contribution; thinking outside of the box to support the delivery and execution of each task at the top level

Requirements:

• Amazing software engineer skills in Java (obviously!)
• Spring / Spring Boot
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Familiarity with Agile / TDD best practices
