Running a Linux and Mac infrastructure with an on-premise/cloud split, we are seeking an individual with strong POSIX skills and the ability to cross disciplines. With a user first mindset, we aim to ensure a solid and stable experience for our employees - both from their machines and all the systems they rely on. You will love identifying and solving problems, have outstanding communication skills, and be passionate about technology. We are looking for someone with the ability to communicate well across teams, identify problems, help design services for scale and prioritise workloads. The successful candidate must also be able to plan and execute work independently.

DUTIES
  • Providing internal support for Thought Machine employees in Singapore and internationally
  • Keep the existing office technology running smoothly and work with the wider IT and operations team on upgrades, expansions and moves
  • Partnering with the other members of the IT team to provide education on, and enforce IT policies
  • Identifying gaps and weaknesses
  • Contributing to infrastructure improvements with other members of the team or as independent projects.
  • Provision and deploy hardware for employees
Requirements

Essential
  • Solid foundation in Linux and Mac OS
  • Experience troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts
  • 3 years of relevant experience
Desirable
  • Familiarity with JAMF Pro
  • Experience with Cisco networking equipment
  • Audio Visual experience
  • G Suite Administration
  • Bash and/or Python Scripting
