Lead Security Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an IT Security Engineer Lead to join a successful and expanding Fintech business with a start-up mentality as you will be having the autonomy to make strategic decisions in the business.

You will be the key person in driving the development and enforcement of IT Security controls within the business. This involves developing of strategic roadmaps that align product and development team to business requirements and top security risks; advising development and product teams on threat modelling, risk assessments and protection mechanisms; and work closely with Head of IT Security to develop and implement security programs

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT / Cyber Security or any relevant field
• At least 3 years of experience in managing a regional team
• Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, etc;
• Scripting skills in Python, shell, and PowerShell are highly advantageous
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
