About the Role
The SC Ventures Investment team has expanded, managing multiple mandates in addition to supporting M&A and fundraising for the Ventures incubated at SC Ventures. There is also a plan to establish several new VC funds over the next 12 months. The team is looking to bring on a junior resource to support the middle office team on a day-to-day basis. The candidate will assist the team to ensure that all information, reporting, and data requests are handled effectively and efficiently.
The focus of this role would be to support the deal and middle office team covering a range of functions across reporting and administration.

The SC Ventures Investment team has expanded, managing multiple mandates in addition to supporting M&A and fundraising for the Ventures incubated at SC Ventures. The candidate will assist the team to ensure that all information, reporting, and data requests are handled effectively and efficiently.

Duties / Responsibilities
- Assisting with reporting and data collection from portfolio companies
- Assisting in compilation of internal reports on investment activity
- Facilitating internal and external information requests
- Performing background research on relevant fund jurisdictions and assisting with new fund proposals
- Timeline management for ongoing projects
- Ensuring relevant static data and spreadsheets are regularly updated
- Liaising with group functions on operational and governance requests
- Ensure that all requests are responded to in a timely manner by appropriate personnel
- 2+ years of investment management, private equity, venture capital or financial services experience
- A passion for investment and an enquiring mind
- Keen interest in the fintech/digital assets space
- Degree in numerate, science or business-related field
- Numerate with intermediate excel spreadsheet skills, capable of working with complex spreadsheets and financial models
- Good written and verbal communication skills

- The eXellerator Lab, enabling innovation at large in the Bank by supporting intrapreneurs and their ideas, collaborating with fintech's through the SCV Fintech Bridge and engaging with clients and co-creation ideas
- The Investment Fund ("Fund"), tasked to acquire minority stakes in fintech companies ("fintechs") whose technology has been successfully validated in the Group
- Venture building, with the objective of exploring new business models ("ventures"), in the way it engages existing new customers and markets.
