Head of Compliance (E-Commerce)

Description

Reporting to the Global Head of Compliance, the Head of Compliance will be involved in :-

• Providing compliance guidance and suggestions in the design of front-end user product functions, to support rapid risk assessment within the business; in-depth collaboration with the global legal compliance team to conduct compliance audits and risk recommendations for products in various fields of e-commerce.
• Having an overview of the regulatory requirements and legislative changes on a global scope; can systematically analyse the compliance of e-commerce operations, including but not limited to consumer protection, online payment, data security and social responsibility.
• Coordinating the business department and the global legal team to deal with potential compliance risks and crisis from users and the market; provide action suggestions for the business department, including but not limited to customer complaints and disputes.
• Familiarising with the security and merchant governance of the e-commerce industry, systematically promote business development, and improve efficiency and optimise the process.

Profile

To qualify, the potential Head of Compliance should meet the following criteria :-

• At least 10 years of relevant compliance experience with an E-Commerce platform or FinTech.
• Familiar with e-commerce business and have a certain understanding of the regulations and laws of the e-commerce industry.
• Possess excellent capabilities of project management, organisational coordination, overall planning and execution.
• Experience responding to and managing crisis events.
