About SC Ventures
SC Ventures ("SCV") was established in 2018 with the purpose of "Rewiring the DNA in Banking" by bringing three distinct areas together:
- The eXellerator Lab, enabling innovation at large in the Bank by supporting intrapreneurs and their ideas, collaborating with fintech's through the SCV Fintech Bridge and engaging with clients and co-creation ideas.
- The Investment Fund ("Fund"), tasked to acquire minority stakes in fintech companies ("fintechs") whose technology has been successfully validated in the Group.
- Venture building, with the objective of exploring new business models ("ventures"), in the way it engages existing new customers and markets
There are c.65 team members (excluding individual ventures), including dedicated colleagues from the Group's support functions, based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nairobi, London and San Francisco.
Investment Product Manager, Autumn Venture, SCV
- Work with a team of Product Managers to accomplish established goals and day-to-day product management for product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies
- By coordinating between partners and internal stakeholders, you will ensure timely development and launch of initiatives and enhancements to the digital platforms whilst maintaining key focus on User Experience, quality of deliveries and ensuring system stability.
- Execute product strategy including but not limited to planning, delivery, communication and on-going product roadmap
- Continuously ideate and implement customer-centric solutions for generic and personalised investment solutions for customers with varying risk profiles and personal financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate and coordinate with various partners such as Product Managers, UX Designers and Developers to translate consumer needs into product features to enhance existing product portfolio
- Work closely with Lead Investment Product Manager to validate and challenge the advisory process, inclusive of model portfolio and fund selection
- Write and convey user stories detailing the implementation of features to the development team
- Provide clarification for necessary questions arising out of Investment feature, and serve as the conduit between Tech and Business for these verticals
- Drive and manage design thinking and co-creation workshops with partners to build a portfolio of new investment solutions tailored to the needs of the end consumer and our clients
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased and always focused on the best interests of the customer
- Measured approach towards managing feedback, across internal stakeholders, external users, and partners
- Willingness to take calculated risks where necessary to try potentially revolutionary approaches that carry significant chances of failure, and the ability to improvise and course-correct on the fly

- 3 + years of experience in product management
- CMFAS 5-9
- CFA preferred
- Advanced Financial Markets & Concepts
- Product Knowledge & Advisory Service
- Regulatory Knowledge
- Self-Starter with strong Interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong advocate of personal finance skills
- Experience in online analytics, tracking and reporting tools e.g. Google Analytics is a plus
