Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical resource to the sales team, and technical lead for client prospects throughout the sales process
  • Partner with Account Executives, Sales Directors, and Managing Directors to demonstrate to prospects on how best to address their use cases and technical requirements
  • Help design solutions based on products while always driving toward deal closure
  • Educate customers and share best practices on integration throughout the sales cycle
  • Translate business requirements into technical architectures & solution.
  • Develop high-level and detailed-level Proof-of-Concepts process.
  • Provide software demonstrations of our in-house trading system and carbon management system
  • Provide recommendations on how to improve the sales and demonstration process
  • Complete pre-sales discovery process capturing detailed technical and workflow requirements, ensuring that the work required falls within the budget and scope of the implementation
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs
  • Interface with the Implementation team providing guidance on software implementations ensuring smooth delivery
  • Build strong relationships and become a trusted point of contact for our clients

 

Qualifications And Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering (Preferred)
  • 3+ years working in a related role or field (solution engineering, technical sales, Implementation specialist)
  • 2+ years experience in the financial markets industry
  • Experience in designing solutions deployed environments (Cloud, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Backup & DR, etc.) on public clouds solution provider (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Experience and strong knowledge in Digital Transformation, Cloud Migration, well-architected Cloud Framework.
  • Experience with Container & Modern technologies (Dockers, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, Google Cloud Anthos)
  • Experience with implementing GitOps using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git
  • Experience with PaaS using Red Hat OpenShift, Google Kubernetes Engine or other Kubernetes platforms, and Docker containers
  • Experience with software development using modern front-end technologies, Microservice architecture / RESTful web service, API Management, relational databases, or SQL
  • Experience in agile software development methodologies
  • Understanding of financial markets infrastructure and data systems, e.g., trading, exchange, KYC/AML, risk management, Cryptocurrency, capital markets and carbon management lifecycle.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal & written) in English and Chinese
  • Detail oriented and creative problem solver
  • Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience distilling complex information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to quickly understand new technologies and complex concepts
  • Ability to travel occasionally

 



The successful incumbent will proactively accelerating deals by overcoming technical objections and building solutions around the products. You will provide in-person and/or remote software demonstrations to prospective clients. Additionally, you will be responsible for the pre-sales discovery process which involves capturing technical requirements, documenting existing workflows, solving complex workflow issues, and providing guidance on new/improved workflows that can be achieved by using our technology.
