What you will be doing

• Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will oversee full spectrum of Finance operations and accounting activities. You'll partner with management team to provide insights, information, and guidance to make strategic and operational decisions and ensure the company is financially healthy and consistently meeting our reporting obligations.
• Leadership and management of Finance Operations team. Build, own and manage policies, framework, and workflows for Finance Operations team.
• Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with local standards and regulatory requirements.
• Own and drive the month end close process and enable accurate and efficient financial results and reporting within tight deadlines.
• Build and grow cross-functional relationships to collaboratively work together to resolve month end issues and solve process efficiencies.
• Provide strategic recommendations to management.
• Set up new entities, review consolidated financial statements and provide guidance to the team in all aspects of accounting.
• Evaluate and continually improve accounting procedures, processes, and systems to ensure standardised worldwide close process and efficient operations.
• Manage the groups statutory requirements including overseeing tax, corp sec and shareholder matters.
• Ensure strong controls environment by maintaining and improving systems, processes, and data.

What you need to be successful in this role (Technical Competencies)

• 5 years' experience in financial management/ accountancy.
• Strong academic pedigree including a CA/CPA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience building processes and controls to ensure we scale effectively.
• Plus: experience manging a multi-jurisdictional global accounting team.
• Strong communications skills are imperative.
