*BANK* DevOps Engineer, DTP Developer - 12 months' contract

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to take ownership and responsibility for developing and scripting of build and deployment tools.
• Any prior experience of creating build and deployment pipelines for a distributed micro services architecture.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Willingness and ability to tackle complex environment support issues.
• An experienced Back End java developer.
• A team player, capable of engaging with other teams,
• Experience With ADO tools a Strong Plus.
• Experience of developing financial markets systems is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years hands on development preferably within investment banking.
• Core Java.
• Solid scripting skills, Unix shell script / Python
• Jenkins Build pipelines (Groovy, Maven, yarn, npm)
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps (Build and Deployment processes)
• Experience in micro-services and container technologies (preferably OpenShift or Docker)
• Kafka Experience is a plus
• Experience with distributed data stores particularly Cassandra is a plus

As a Dev Ops developer, you’ll be Supporting our Development Team by developing build and deployment tools, environment build and support as well as hands on coding of functional components. Based in Singapore, you will collaborate in a dynamic global team with fellow technologists, business analysts, project managers and business stakeholders across multiple locations.
