Director, Product and Solutions, TAS Connect
Roles & Responsibilities
  • As the business is poised for rapid growth, we urgently need a senior product and platforms resource who can define and lead the pre-sales and post-sales processes. As part of the expanded role, the candidate will also oversee platform solutions across all client development mandates as well as product roadmap development.
  • Pre-sales sales processes entail defining the activities preceding the pitch including client KPIs that are sought to be achieved through the solution implementation
  • Post sales processes entail defining the activities after the client has mandated the company, including managing the client implementation and tracking the KPIs.
  • Development activity on the platform will either be client-led or product roadmap led. The candidate will oversee the entire development activity from the point of view of solution design, solution appropriateness. He/she will own the product development process and ensure development is 'fit for purpose'

Requirements
  • An expert level trade and supply chain finance product knowledge and understanding of client behaviour are essential requirements for this role. A candidate should have experience of having worked hands on in a senior trade and / or supply chain finance (SCF) role in a bank or a technology platform. A direct exposure to SCF programs and implementation thereof in a large bank set up will be a distinct advantage.
  • This role supports the entire sales effort and helps the sales organization in refining client pitches to make them more specific, focused, and ultimately results-driven.
  • The client origination process is incredibly crucial and consequenrly this role. A disciplined approach based on key client KPIs will increase the likelihood of closure through the implementation of the platform and digitalization of the workflow through TASConnect.
A real-time post-sales process should also be defined and embedded to enable the company to analyze and measure the benefits of the implementation.
