Team Introduction

In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Provide subject matter expertise on AML laws, regulations, and best practices
• Develop and implement AML policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices across jurisdictions (APAC/EMEA/US)
• Conduct AML risk assessments and investigations and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and resolution
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the AML program is effective and efficient
• Provide guidance and training to employees on AML best practices
• Monitor changes in AML laws and regulations and provide guidance on required changes to the AML program
• Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and respond to inquiries related to AML matters

Qualifications

• Significant experience (typically 7-10 years) in compliance or AML-related roles
• Knowledge of AML laws, regulations, and best practices
• Experience developing and implementing AML policies and procedures
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with and partner stakeholders across the organization
• Familiarity with AML technologies and tools such as transaction monitoring , customer due diligence & sanctions systems
• Experience with interactions with regulatory agencies
