Role Description

This role has been created in order to:
  • Deliver new business to allow achievement of long-term growth strategy (new customer acquisition and new platforms in existing clients) focusing on financial institutions.
  • Harvest business that is: reputable, high-profit, high-growth; aligned with our business model and product proposition ('manage the quality of our business')
  • In consultation with the Business Development Director - Asia (TBC), formulate a repeatable and robust sales process for Singapore


Specific Responsibilities:
  • To develop and further enhance a Singapore sales strategy for FNZ, delivering agreed sales and revenue targets for all products and services
  • Primarily responsible for new customer business and major incremental business in existing clients
  • Measure performance
  • Close deals & get contracts signed
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with the solution
  • Follow sales process new business approval
    • Prospecting
    • Business opportunity qualification
    • Create commercially acceptable terms for all parties
    • Engineer solutions that meet client's problem statements
    • Work with Solution Consultants to ensure solutions are deliverable
    • Work with Sales Operations to ensure high quality submission of proposals

Requirements
  • Experience in sales and/or business development in the enterprise B2B technology space ideally with SaaS solutions
  • Experience in wealth management and investment products and services within banks, private banks, asset managers, life insurers, or securities firms
  • Evidence of success in developing and implementing a sales/business development strategy in Singapore
  • Ability to confidently engage with C suite/Exec level of our target audience of financial institutions
  • Proven experience closing multi-year six-figure-plus contracts (in a team environment and/or individually)
  • Evidence of success in building and maintaining a broad network of internal and external stakeholder relationships leading to commercial opportunities
  • Track record of successfully identifying new commercial/sales opportunities and capitalising on these
  • Have an analytical approach with the ability to conceptualize ideas to assist with problem-solving
  • Have a high level of understanding of country & regulatory principles and rules
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills and the ability to convince through personal credibility
  • Goal/target-oriented
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently
  • Highly organised and able to cope with multiple large-scale responsibilities
  • Evidence of successfully managing multi-country financial plans
  • Language: English & Mandarin proficiency
