Job Description

About the Murex Production Architecture Consultant Role:
In this business critical role, you will be performing consulting work to ensure the technical satisfaction of customers in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region by participating in client support through the product life cycle on issues within the client MIS environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the point of contact for system production and architecture technical issues
  • Assist clients in sizing, setting up, monitoring and maintaining their infrastructure (hardware and software on which the platform is run)
  • Participate in the analysis and improvement of the system's stability, reliability and performance: issues analysis, benchmarking, code purification, performance profiling

To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of two to three years of work experience with a programming background.

Key Requirements:

  • Systems: Linux system administration, shell scripting basics, networking
  • Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server (DB administration level preferred)
  • Software engineering: Programming (C, C++, Java, Python, Go, etc.)
  • Knowledge of tools such as Valgrind, GDB, BPF, Java profilers such as MAT
  • Good organisational skills
  • Proactive and self-driven
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Desire and ability to learn across different expertise such as operating systems, programming, databases, networking
