Group Lead, Product Origination and Design - Standard Chartered nexus

This is a product leadership role. You will be responsible for leading a team of functional Product Owners on the development of client facing features including digital origination, risk management, and mobile channel. The Group Lead will also be responsible for design and UI/UX of all user journeys.

What you will be doing:
Functional delivery:

• Provide thought leadership on emerging trends an opportunities in the banking technology space
• Lead and mentor a team of POs across origination, risk management, mobile and design
• Deliver new functional capability aligned to the overall audax product road map
• Ensure best in class design of the UI/UX and consistency with the audax design framework
• Define clearly articulated release schedules of the prioritised features
• Ensure adoption of agile product development practices within the group
• Lead product inceptions, ensure that new features requirements are fully understood by the delivery squads
• Continuously measure product performance and mke improvements to achieve desired customer and commercial KPI

Stakeholder management

• Clear the path for new feature delivery by aligning functional stakeholders such as risk, technology and commercial teams
• Ensure alignment on the solutions with the squad leads and technology leadership
• Support the pre-sales and co mmercial teams in engaging existing and potential clients
• Manage the relationship with 3 rd party solution providers supporting audax's origination and design features
• Provide support to production support team for high and critical issues on origination and design

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Proven track record of team management
• Proven track record in developing new capabilities from the ground up
• Agile practitioner track record of defining and executing product increments

Technical Competencies

• 12+ years of experience of technology product leadership preferably in a financial services software company
• Strong analytical skills with experience in managing product documentation, user manual and API contracts
• Strong understating and knowledge of financial products new business models such as BaaS and digital banking
