Operation Manager

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

 

• Work closely with Fund Administrator for Fund NAV pack
• Conduct cash reconciliation, trades matching & reconciliation, client deposits & withdrawal instructions, other settlement duties and return calculation, etc.
• Liaise with various external parties such as legal counsels, auditors, fund administrators etc.
• Investment support to investment team
• Review subsequent closing, capital calls/distributions
• Review underlying investments’ valuation on a quarterly basis
• Assist investor’s onboarding procedures
• In charge of fund audit
• Assist fundraising and new fund setup
• Account opening and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management

Job Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, economics, accounting, and other related disciplines
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in hedge funds/ private equity, fund administration or fund accounting and 1 year of management experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in blockchain industry
• OTC derivative operations experience is a plus
• Strong logic skills, attention to detail and a team player
• Qualified accountant (ACCA or equivalent) would be an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Mandarin is a plus.

 

Candidates need to have in-depth knowledge and experience of blockchain primary and secondary market trading and financial functions (such as fund accounting, fund management, trade support, and management reporting etc.). The ideal candidate is required to have extensive knowledge of private equity, project-based experience and experience in Blockchain industry.
