Job Description

Job Requirements:

  • Provide support in establishing and continuously monitor the implementation of the business credit risk management framework, ensuring excellence in risk performance.
  • Evaluate and underwrite the risks associated with Asian suppliers and international buyers by utilizing technology tools, alternative data, and innovative approaches to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of underwriting.
  • Proactively manage the credit risk exposure of a designated portfolio by conducting thorough risk assessments on counterparties, driving business growth through the implementation of risk mitigation solutions that align with the company's risk appetite and credit policy.
  • Continuously explore and identify external data sources in different regions, with a specific emphasis on India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and other relevant areas, to enrich our underwriting and rating models.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including funding partners and insurers, to secure their support and endorsement of our risk framework, ensuring seamless asset distribution.

 

Desired Profile:

  • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related field.
  • Have at least 10 years of experience in credit underwriting or risk strategy, preferably within a trade finance institution or fintech company.
  • Prior experience in cross-border receivable finance, factoring, credit insurance, supply chain solutions, SME coverage, or relevant domain expertise is desirable.
