Front Office Application Support (Rates) - ION Trading Experience Required

Requirements:

• Support front office applications used in Rates trading, ensuring prompt issue resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate and resolve application-related problems.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for incidents.
• Assist with user acceptance testing and application upgrades.
• Provide input to development teams on enhancements and bug fixes.
• Maintain documentation and deliver user training.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience in front-office application support for Rates trading.
• Proficiency in ION Trading platforms (e.g., ION MarketView, ION Trading, ION Pricing).
• Knowledge of front-office trading systems, OMS, and market data platforms.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol and electronic trading systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Excel macro and VBA.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and ITIL best practices.
